Susan Williams, a Wedding, and a new Costume for Black Canary

Image
Black Canary  will get a new suit.  What do  you think?  Her mask is distinctively different.  It's good that has no real resemblance to the Laurel Lance  costume, which in my humble  opinion was  overcome with buckles.  Do you think the Black Siren and the Black Canary  will be at odds? Stephen Amell stated in his Q and A on Facebook that they are not done with Susan Williams.  It did seem she dropped off the face  of the earth, and she had  a lot of information on Oliver Queen. Sounds like she may reappear in season 6. Also hinted that there will be a wedding on Arrow, and when David Ramsey was questioned on if the wedding would be the Felicity and Oliver, he just smiled.  We  certainly are  all waiting for that.  It is also hinted that the wedding  would be part of a crossover show.  Personally, I hope that is not the case.  The only other show I watch is Flash, and I am quickly  losing interest in it.

Family to be the Theme of Season 6

Image
Stephen Amell has stated that the theme of season 6 of  Arrow will be family.  We have a lot of story  that could be explored here.  Here are some possibilities that I  have thought of.  You find  more, or different ideas, please post them in the comment section below.                 Thea:  If Malcom died, as we  all suspect he did, then Thea could be struggling with some  guilt over the loss of both Robert and Malcom.  I  know Robert's been gone for 5 years, but she ended on the island  where he was buried and so that leaves an  impact  on a person.  Plus she's always had  issues with Malcom, and then he gave his life for her, so that would  change her perspective as well.  Then too, she could turn to Oliver more, because now he is not only her brother, but her father figure.  At one point  I thought she had turned to Lance as a sort of father figure, and perhaps she will again. Rene:  Perhaps there will be a focus on Rene trying to get his daughter back, and with Lance&#

For Arrow and This is Us Fans Good News

Image
vs.            If you enjoy both Arrow and This is Us, but had been disappointed to hear they were to be on the same night and time good news.  This is Us will stay on Tuesdays at nine!  NBC decides to move This is Us back to Tuesday.  Not that I was worried, but now I can watch them both live rather than taping This is Us to watch later, because Arrow will always come first. :)  I think they were worried about Thursday night Football.

Arrow Season Five Final Thoughts

Image
What an amazing season this was!  I know we had some angst in the beginning,  but I  felt satisfied by the ending.  The showrunners gave us an incredible season with a cliffhanger  ending  that will  make us all want to  tune in  in October.  I  thought I would go over the year looking  at the low points and the  high points and points in between.      The Low Points:  For me, the start of the season seemed a little rocky and off kilter.  I think that's because we found Felicity with Billy Malone, yet the viewer had no kind of connection to Billy.  The writers didn't give us reason to care for Billy. Felicity certainly found a rebound  romance to fill the void of Oliver.  Yet she could never even say the word "boyfriend" in front of Oliver.  We felt sympathy with Oliver, who had  no idea that Billy even existed.  The viewer was  left thinking, "Where  did this guy  come  from?"  The viewer always had  a suspicion that Billy couldn't be a  "good gu
