Tune in with Turner

  To say that  we  were  all shocked to  hear on Saturday, March 30th, that Emily  Bett Rickards  would leave Arrow at the  end  to this current season, would  be  an understatement.  Many were ready to  quit watching, some blamed  Stephen Amell, and some  even  blamed Emily for not waiting to start her next project until the  shortened season  8 ended.  It's always sad when  a show towards the  end  loses main characters  that we have  all grown  to love.  You can switch  actors in movies with sequels because so much time passes  between the sequels that viewers  adjust more readily.  However, television is so  different, because these characters are in our homes  each week,  and the viewer becomes more invested in the characters, so  when  one  leaves, the absence is  keenly felt.      Now that the anger phase  is over,  and this  reviewer  can think more  clearly, I still feel positive about how Arrow will conclude this  adventure we  have  all been on.      Well, although this was not a concentric Olicity episode, we did  receive quite a huge reveal that certainly  surprised me.  So though this episode wasn't the best one for me, many things still happened that will drive the story forward  to it's  conclusion, which I think really won't happen until 810.  Now that we know season 8 will be the end of the series, season 8 will seem to me, anyway, more like an  extended  season 7.  Enough on that, let's dig in.               Oliver:  Oliver's heart is always for family.  I guess that's about the only good thing that Robert and Moria left him with.  He wants to save Emiko.  He knows she was only 11 when Moria made Robert choose between his  money, his company, and  Oliver and  Thea and Emiko and her mother.  When he left them he left them with no money and no home.  Oliver takes Robert's guilt upon himself.  Oliver has grown, and I was  frustrated at first that he took this guilt upon himself, but then I

    We got to see Oliver and Felicity have their baby!  I'm still hoping to see the whole birth from first labor pain until delivery in 801, please Beth, don't let me down!  Two great episodes  back to back, and  I'm enjoying it, are you?  We learn quite a bit in this episode, so are you ready, let's dig in.                Legacy: Mia, Willam, and Connor: I totally believe that Star City 2040 lays the groundwork for a spin-off with Mia, Connor, and William.  Arrow's Odyssey like story is about more than one man trying to go home and save his  city from destruction.  It's about legacy, and what we leave behind.  Oliver did not think  he could  have a  "normal" life because of  he danger he's constantly put in trying to save his city, his home.  Oliver's come a  long way because he had to learn that saving the city is  not the only goal.  His goal is to leave a legacy.  Remember when Robert and Oliver was  in the boat, what did Robert tell Ol
