Thoughts on Stephen Amells Two Truths and a Lie

I've been thinking about Stephen Amell's two truths and a lie.  To remind the readers the three statements Stephen made were : Oliver and Slade have a talk in present day.  Diggle deploys his gun, it doesn't fire and he misses  someone. Thea and Oliver have a talk in present day.

Stephen has confirmed that Manu Bennett will return in several episodes as Slade Wilson, so unless they are just flashbacks that he will  be in, then this would seem like the likely truth.  Diggle deploying his gun and having it not fire seems rather unlikely knowing Diggle skill as a soldier.  I know military men having been around them all my life, and they know how to keep their weapons in working order, so on the surface this would seem like the lie.    Thea having a talk with Oliver in present day, would be a truth if she survived the island, as we all think.  However I think back to Marc Guggenheim's talk, which you can find on this site, and he said  two interesting things, just because they have a contract doesn't mean they can't be killed, and the other was there are other things that can happen.   Would the writers dare to kill our beloved Thea?        To be honest she didn't have much of a storyline last season.  I kept waiting for her to come back strong, but that didn't happen.  It seems possible that the writers could do that.  In television on one stays dead long...we have Laurel Lance back.  Or will Thea be missing, and later on in the season, we find her?
