      I have mixed emotions about the finale. After it aired last night, I would have said, it was not the best finale nor the worst.  I took the time to re-watch it on the CW app and then I've mulled it over nearly most of the morning and I can see something that the writers and Stephen Amell said about it.  They  said that if we went back to season one we would understand the ending.  I think I  can see  what they were saying.    This, readers, is the most difficult review to write.       Right away the action starts when the Green Arrow comes into the police station with the FBI.  The action packed fighting engages the viewer immediately.  Because it starts so intensely, we know that what lies ahead of us  shall be equally intense.  We find out that Oliver has made a deal with Samanda Watson.  All the team including Felicity gets immunity from prosecution.  Felicity walks in and s...

       Episode 2 of Season Six will see the return of Anatoly, brilliantly played by David Nykl.  Oliver and Anatoly have a long history, and now he will return to Star City.  When Oliver last saw Anatoly, it didn't end on good terms.  The two men who had once been as close as brothers are now at odds with each other, and Anatoly promised revenge.  How do you feel about that?  I liked Anatoly, and the writers wrote an interesting story.  What happens when the person you once cared for and who had once saved your life, now is on the opposite side of you? The episode is called Tribute.  I'm supposing that in this episode tribute will be paid to those who lost their lives on the island.  However Oliver has been exposed as the Green Arrow, and it appears from the trailer that even the FBI may want to be after Oliver.  Who do you think is behind all this?  My first guest is the Black Siren.    Are you hoping ...

       According to Wolf Hall, season six will explore Oliver Queen's life and new role as father.  He will face many challenges as William may have some resentment  towards Oliver and his  role in the death  of his mother.  William doesn't really know Oliver, and his role as Green Arrow.  Wolf Hall hints that it is possible Oliver will think of retirement as the Green Arrow to focus on  being Mayor and father.  This also can be heard in the recent trailer when Slade  Wilson discusses with Oliver how difficult it is to walk in two  worlds. Wolf Hall also hints that it is possible that William is kidnapped, and Oliver will be forced out of retirement to be the Green Arrow to find his son. What do  you think of this scenario?  Does it seem plausible to you?

As we await news from San Diego on Season 6, I thought this video would be a good one to share. It really summarizes their relationship.  They are each other's salvation.  Oliver brought Felicity into her  own and showed her how much she was capable of, and Felicity brought Oliver out of his darkness into the light, to be the Green Arrow.  This song suits both of them.                  From the sleuthing I've been able to do, David Ramsey  and  Stephen  Amell has said that Diggle has a secret and that Diggle's been injured  in the explosion.  He is more injured than anyone imagines.  Is that a secret?  It could be. There will also be some sort of disagreement between Oliver and Diggle.  There are hints that Oliver will be outed as the Green Arrow.  Would Susan Williams do this or Oliver himself?  I am sure by now half of  Star City should realize that the Mayor is also the Green Arrow, so would anyone really care?         Lian Yu confirmed by Marc Guggenheim!    Well, at least one of my speculations turned out correct, the whole team will end the season in Lian Yu!  I am excited about this and of course we will have more of Manu Bennett as Slade Wilson, and Katie Cassidy as the Black Siren. With the title of episode 22 Missing, I am thinking that Felicity kidnapped and taken to Lian Yu, and the rest of the team will head there to find her.   Do you remember that twice Slade threatened Felicity?  Perhaps Chase knows Slade, and we know Chase knows Black Canary so I think we shall see more of that since we know that Katie Cassidy will be back in the last two episodes as the Black Canary,  and she will become a regular cast member next season. Frankly, I don't know that we need the Black Siren as a regular cast member, so that one puzzles me. If any of my readers know  why the showrunners are doing that, please post why.     With...

                                                                                 Oliver had to destroy the Green Arrow rather than placing  blame on Billy Malone, which would have hurt Felicity.  Oliver has to lose himself to find himself.  That sounds like a paradox but that's pretty much what the first four seasons have been about.  Who is Oliver Queen, really and what is his legacy?  Felicity has always played a huge part in his identity, and if you think about it, Olivier plays a large role in Felicity's identity.   Now, in this season  they are finding out who they are apart from one another, and I think this will be what ultimately will bring them back together and united for the same purpose.  I think apart from one another, they are disc...

      It's always darkest before the dawn.  I discovered that this morning when I awoke right before dawn, and it was so incredibly dark.  Then light came shimmering the darkness away.  This, my friends, will be the dark arc for Felicity.  She will delve deeper  in the darkness, much as Oliver did in the first two seasons.  She will come to understand what Oliver is all about.  She will understand Oliver in a deeper way, because she will understand the psyche that made him the Green Arrow.  Then  she will understand the secrets. Oliver will be drawn closer to Felicity through all of this.  Don't let Fighting with Fire throw you off the main goal.  Oliver will help Felicity in the end.  Look beyond what you see. It is there.  Oliver worries about both his sister and Felicity going towards that darkness, because he knows what it does to the soul, and he wants to spare them that.  Last night Arrow gave us the new Black Canary aka, Tina Boland, whom we find out at the end is really Dinah Drake.  Of course we know that Laurel's first name was Dinah, so this is Arrow's new Black Canary.  She got her Canary Cry in Central City at the time of the  particle accelerator explosion.  She knows how to fight, because she had been CCPD  Clearly, Juliana Harkavy can act.  Her performance was both believable and authentic.  She holds her own with Oliver. As I have stated before, I know zero about comic books or comic book icons, so I had to do a little research as to why the showrunners found it necessary to give us a Black Canary, when there seems to be plenty on board who can help Oliver fight crime. Apparently the original Black Canary in the 1947 comics was named Dinah Drake, so this is a wink at history.  I guess the Green Arrow has always had a Black Canary, and since Arrow is taken from the Green Arrow, then it would seem...
