Felicity took a cup of coffee out to the front porch of her cabin in the forest to watch Mia collect fireflies.  Mia would be five in about six months, and Felicity thought how lonely this time would be if she had not had her.  Her mind drifted to William.  He didn't know he had parents who loved him desperately, nor did he know he had a little sister.  What kind of brother would he have been? She felt certain he would be a protective older brother. She smiled when she thought that Mia would be a bossy little sister.  Her thoughts drifted toward  her husband, but she pulled them away; thinking of him was too hard. She called for Mia and told her,"time to get ready for bed."  "One more minute, Mommy, please?"  But Felicity encouraged her to come, and  Mia began to release the fireflies she had collected. "Why are you letting them go, Mia?" "Well, Mommy," she began, they are my watchman,  they are my, what were you once, Mommy?" &quo

Two years had passed  since  Oliver's release from prison, and  Felicity's tenacity with Watson that kept her fighting on for them both.  So much had happened since that day.  Felicity felt Oliver putting a shawl over her shoulders. His arms lingering there. He kissed  her neck, and whispered, "You seem lost in thought." "I just want her to be safe."  Oliver looked down with love at his  baby daughter. "It seems a miracle that we have her."  Tears fell softly down her cheek and she fell into Oliver's arms. "When I  was  shot and couldn't walk I was so afraid I could never give you  a child. I thought it was a good thing, when the doctor first told me, because how could we bring a child into this world.  Look at all you had to do  to protect William.  I never thought I could be a  good mom, but then you trusted me with William, and I knew I could  be.  William is my son, in my heart, every bit as much as Megan. Oliver, we

Recap from Part 1:  Felicity had arranged with Watson to see Oliver.  She needed to tell him about the miscarriage she had.  Oliver and she grieved for the child that both would have wanted.  On the way back to prison, Watson has a confession of her own:  "Oliver, I hate to admit this, but the FBI has not made any headway in locating Diaz.  In fact, Felicity telling us about the contact Diaz has with Werner Zytel, was the first we'd heard of anything about him.  Oliver, I hate to say this, but we need the help of your team, and frankly, I think we need you.  Will you help us?" "I promised Felicity that would never again do anything without telling her first, and I don't want to be some escaped convict either.  My family has been  through enough, and I won't do anything that will jeopardize that." Watson proceeded down the road back to the prison in silence for a couple of miles before saying,  "I will arrange for a trusted contact to give

Felicity waited impatiently, pacing up and  down, looking at her watch.  What's taking so long? She wondered.  Oliver had sat in prison for six long months and she hadn't seen  him.  John had seen him  a couple of times, and she knew that what he  had  seen had  not been good.  She knew John well,  and she  knew when  he kept things from  her.  He  told her a  little,  but she knew it wasn't everything,  and her imagination ran wild  with horrible scenarios. She had to see him for herself.  Felicity glanced  at her watch  again.  It's been an hour  she  thought, what's taking so long? She knew she took a  huge  risk approaching Samanda Watson, but it she  would do whatever it took, just like Oliver had  done. Finally she heard footsteps.  The door opened, and Oliver followed by Watson came in.  Oliver looked puzzled.  He just stood there.  His face worn, looking older, and bruised.  She froze too shocked at what she saw.  Watson said, "You have exactly two

Felicity walked into the bunker, her ponytail  moving as  she walked. She wore a red dress with a black belt.   Oliver loved her in  red.   Diggle said, "You  look happy." "I  am.  We had a wonderful New Year's  Eve, and my Mom  didn't even get on my nerves. " "Married life  agrees with  you, Felicity." Felicity smiled and said, "Thanks, John.  What did you,  Lila and JJ do? Before  he could answer, Felicitiy saw  a wrapped box on her computer.   "What's this, John?" "I  don't know, it was there  when I came in.  I  thought Oliver had to put it there." "I  don't think  he could have.  He and William  left at the  same  time I did to take Mom to the train depot, and not that I'm anxious for my  mother to go, I told them to take their time." They thought it could  have been Lance, but that would be out of  character for him.  Then Diggle thought it might have been  Curtis,

Felicity woke up early and slid out of bed, moving Oliver’s arm gently from around her.  She glanced at the clock five o’clock, she would need the time.  Felicity wanted to cook a special breakfast for Oliver and William.  He knew how to cook because of his time on the island, he had to learn or starve.  Felicity never knew how to cook.  Her mother didn’t really cook, she would just bring in something on her way home from work.   Raisa had given her lessons, and even with her guidance, she still struggled.  Raisa would laugh at her and  one day  Felicity just sat down and cried that it was hopeless.  Raisa give her a  hug and told her that Oliver loved  her whether she could cook or not, and that she if he didn’t appreciate her efforts, she would give her boy a talking too!  Raisa had  practically raised Oliver.  She had  always been  honest with Oliver, even when  his parents had not.  She said to Felicity, “If he were my own son, I would be proud to have him marry yo

“Felicity, what’s all this?” “Oliver, I thought we should get some new Christmas decorations for the apartment, but I have my side equally represented,” she said holding  up the Menorah, “and, I think William might enjoy the dreidel game.”   Oliver looked at her with such love that it he always found it hard to deny her anything. “Don’t you mean Holiday, “he said smiling, but added, “I don’t know, Felicity with everything hanging over our heads, and the team…” “Driven away,” finished Diggle who had just walked in to the lair.  Oliver glared at him and pursed  his lips together in annoyance  and gave that sigh  he always  does.  “I had thought so too, Oliver, until I talked to Mom and she said that William always looked forward to Christmas, which we should really call it since William  probably  doesn’t know anything at all about Chanukah, and…” “Felicity,” said  Oliver, in the gentle voice he only used  for her. “Right,” but before she
