Tune in with Turner

      Brothers and Sisters offered us parallels of two brothers and sisters: Oliver and Emiko and William and Mia.  I enjoyed this episode.  It showed the character growth of both Oliver and Felicity.  There is nothing better than to watch those characters you love grow as individuals. Arrow, by its very nature is dark, and the viewers responded to the light that Felicity brought to Oliver when he appeared in her office.  This season has been particularly dark, and so the light moments that we got in this episode created hope for the viewer.  Now we discover that we are approaching the last episodes  of Arrow, but I  will give my thoughts on that at the end of this review.         Oliver as a Brother:  Oliver tells Emiko that his parents were not the best, but "if there is one thing they taught me, it was the importance  of family."        This will be shorter since  today is Thanksgiving and tomorrow I  have a full day.   I hope you won't end up saying, "Tune in With Turner, you  have failed this review!"  This one has been difficult since  I think the story is  confusing on many  levels.  Here are my thoughts: Oliver:  Oliver progressing to become a  true hero in the light.  He has faced his many demons, the Island, Deathstroke, Chase, and not so much  Diaz  as  Dr. Parker. He has realized  who he is and what he is.  He is a  fighter  for justice who is unwilling to kill for the sake  of killing to scratch a  name or a villain off his list.  Prison has caused  him to face the last aspect he had to face: will he be the same kind father to William as his  father was to him?  Will he continue to  make decisions for everyone  he loves without consulting them...

There have always been people who never wanted Felicity and Oliver together, but recently there has been some joy over the fact that in the first two  episodes of  Arrow they saw very little of "Olicity".  In some reviews, there has been little mention at all of  Felicity.  I am not a purist, and  in full disclosure, I have to admit, when I first viewed Arrow, I had no idea that Arrow was a comic book hero.  I approached Arrow as sort of a fantasy/adventure show.  I have gone back over the  early seasons of Arrow and I found reasons why Felicity worked, and why Arrow needed  her  and hence why Arrow  needs Olicity.       For background let's look at the past lives of both Oliver and Felicity.  Oliver's parents treated their children more like adult friends than children.
