Felicity in Central City for Girls Night Out

Image
Last evening on the  Flash, Felicity went to Central City for the Bachlorette party for Iris West. The episode was enjoyable in part to Emily Bett Rickards' performance as Felicity Smoak. Her comedic timing is impeccable.  Arrow fans  looked  for any clues, and of course we found a couple. At the restaurant after toasting the future Mrs. West-Allen, the ladies asked when Felicity and  Oliver would marry.  She said, "The last time we tried that Oliver got an arrow," or something like that.  Later at a night club where the "love drug" had been distributed Felicity mentioned that she was engaged. Is she engaged?  Does she consider herself engaged, or was that a ruse to defect?  As to the rest of the episode, Caitlin played to perfection by Danielle Panabaker, belonged to her story.  We learned more about Killer Frost and Caitlin's personalities.  Each one is afraid of the other one, that gave an interesting dynamic to the story. Oliver's Journey to Explore True Love

Image
According to Wendy Mericle, the Four-way Crossover Event on the Arrowverse, will be Oliver's journey as he explores the meaning of true love.  Oliver has had lots of romantic flings, but that's not love.  Merely having sex with someone isn't necessarily love either.  What causes Oliver Queen to exam the question of True Love?  Mericle states that this Arrowverse Crossover is Oliver's story and one other person's story in the Arrowverse.   Mericle says,  "It really explores the question of true love, and what does that look like? It's emotionally really compelling, and your'e going to be surprised by what he learns and how he learns it and who he learns it from."  Are you intrigued yet?  I am.  I think that tonight's episode of the Flash will set some of this in motion. Apparently, John Diggle officiates at the wedding of both couples: Barry and Iris and Oliver and Felicity.

Thoughts on the Flash 403

The Flash has taken a lighter tone this season.  It's good to see a happier kind of Barry. I felt sorry for Wally and his loss of Jessie. I had hoped that they might be round this season.  Did you feel bit sorry for Wally when he announced that he had been gone, but no one noticed?  I have a feeling that we haven't see the last of either one of them.  Of course the way Jessie had treated her dad was the catalyst for Harry to return.  I find Tom Cavanagh's acting amazing.  He has played four different versions of Harry Wells now, and each so different.    I find  I miss H.R, but this Harry has potential too.  I enjoy his interaction with Cisco. Did you enjoy the way Iris wanted to hurry up and marry Barry, thinking that they may never end up getting married?  That was cute.             Reading the feed about Joe and Cecile having a baby, I discovered     that many people felt that story line a little far-fetched.  However they certainly aren't too old t
