Tune in with Turner

                Oliver, John, and  Laurel leave Earth 2 just before it disintegrates into nothingness.  Oliver awakes to find him alone in a room and the Monitor appears whom we find out is called Mar Novu.  Oliver has a lot to ponder in  this episode.  Even though Felicity is not actually present this season, the writers want us never to forget that she holds a very strong presence in Arrow.  As an aside, I've heard various rumors stating that it was not Emily's choice to leave, but that her contract ended with season 7 and she was not offered one for season 8.  If  anyone knows the truth of that rumor, please share it in the comments sections, and if  you can include were we can find a link to that.  Okay, now back to the review.  Arrow is a different show, we all knew it would be without Felicity, and I think the ratings seem to testify to that.  Arrow was dead last in the ratings...

    For me Arrow officially ended  with Season Seven.  Even Stephen Amell said, that for him, Arrow as we knew it had  ended  with episode 722. I had no plans to watch season 8 or do  reviews, however, several  of you said that you missed  them and could I try to watch and review as I had time.  For these wonderful people that I came to know through doing these reviews and  RiRi posting them on her Olicity-Arrow page, I have agreed to give it a go.  If you give  positive feedback and  encouragement, I'll  do more. I'm just not sure you all  are going to like what I have to  say. Arrow certainly isn't the show that I came to love.  For me this premier episode hearkened  back to season one.  It opens with Oliver running through the forest or jungle as in previous season openings.  It doesn't take us long  to know that Oliver is not on Earth 1.  He appears on Earth 2 to...

       I know this was  a season finale, but for me, this clearly was a Series Finale; it ended the series with grace, dignity, and beauty.  Stephen Amell had stated that he told the  writers to write season 7 as if  it were the last.   The last ten minutes, as wonderful as they were, seemed just a bit rushed.  I would like to have seen the episode a special, longer one, extended to an hour and a half. It wouldn't feel as rushed.That being said, I felt satisfied that it ended with grace and dignity and that Oliver and Felicity, in spite of all the hardships they had to endure, finally are together at last.  Let's get the tissues and begin.          Oliver and Emiko:   Emiko and the Ninth Circle are about to unleash a bio weapon on Star City, and it's up the team to stop them.  This is another area that felt a bit rushed.   I know that people felt Emiko as villain fell f...
