Crossing Lines Arrow 703 Review

Image
The writing for the  first part of the  season has  kept us  involved and for this reviewer a bit nervous, and this  episode kept up that pace and that nervousness.  In this episode, we have 3 different stories  taking place at the same time, and  I have  a feeling that they are all interconnected.  We  had  no flash-forward in this episode, but frankly, we didn't miss  it, because the action and  plot of  all  three  stories kept the  viewer involved.  I'm going to break the review down into the three  stories,  which are the Oliver in Prison, Felicity in the Field, and Lyla,, John,  and A.R.G.U.S.. All three of our main  characters in each story Crossed the Line, but will the  cost be? Let's  dig  in:       Oliver in Prison: Oliver did  what he had to do for Brick  to find  the information on Diaz.  However, Brick w...

Searching for William: Olicity fan fiction

Image
Two years had passed  since  Oliver's release from prison, and  Felicity's tenacity with Watson that kept her fighting on for them both.  So much had happened since that day.  Felicity felt Oliver putting a shawl over her shoulders. His arms lingering there. He kissed  her neck, and whispered, "You seem lost in thought." "I just want her to be safe."  Oliver looked down with love at his  baby daughter. "It seems a miracle that we have her."  Tears fell softly down her cheek and she fell into Oliver's arms. "When I  was  shot and couldn't walk I was so afraid I could never give you  a child. I thought it was a good thing, when the doctor first told me, because how could we bring a child into this world.  Look at all you had to do  to protect William.  I never thought I could be a  good mom, but then you trusted me with William, and I knew I could  be.  Wil...

Speculations on Stanley Season 7 of Arrow

Image
Have any of you wondered about Stanley?  He is in prison for murders he says he  didn't commit.  We know that this does  sometimes happen, but what if this inconspicuous, little man, is the informant for Ricardo Diaz?  In my last review, I said that Stanley adds a light element to the prison scenes, which we need. Also, Stanley acts as the impetus for Oliver to realize that he can be the Green Arrow, even in prison.  Instead of marking down the days to his release, he is fighting in prison,  while Felicity fights outside prison in the field to bring down Diaz.  The viewer might expect a Brick or a Turner to be the informant, but Diaz might chose someone no one would expect, a Stanley.  What if Stanley isn't so innocent as he looks?  What do you think? Longbow Hunters: Arrow 702 Review

Image
Arrow continues to be very interesting this season.  The Longbow Hunters arrived and they prove a formidable  force.  The  new showrunner  has found  a way to  keep the feel  of Oliver and  Felicity together  though  they are apart by the use of role reversal:  Felicity goes into the field like her  husband, and Oliver hacks a computer  like his wife. Each  fights for the other.        Oliver:   Can Oliver fight as the  Green Arrow while in  prison?  What does  it mean to be the Green Arrow?  These are questions that we see Oliver facing in prison.  Oliver learned over the past six years that he has  had to find a different  way. Killing is not the answer, yet he's in a  different environment now.  As he comes out of  solitary,  he says, "My wife and son were attacked. I would do anything  to prot...
