Felicity in Central City for Girls Night Out
Last evening on the Flash, Felicity went to Central City for the Bachlorette party for Iris West. The episode was enjoyable in part to Emily Bett Rickards' performance as Felicity Smoak. Her comedic timing is impeccable. Arrow fans looked for any clues, and of course we found a couple. At the restaurant after toasting the future Mrs. West-Allen, the ladies asked when Felicity and Oliver would marry. She said, "The last time we tried that Oliver got an arrow," or something like that. Later at a night club where the "love drug" had been distributed Felicity mentioned that she was engaged. Is she engaged? Does she consider herself engaged, or was that a ruse to defect?
As to the rest of the episode, Caitlin played to perfection by Danielle Panabaker, belonged to her story. We learned more about Killer Frost and Caitlin's personalities. Each one is afraid of the other one, that gave an interesting dynamic to the story. Can a part of Caitlin remain inside Killer Frost, and can a part of Frost remain in Caitlin? Caitlin has feared Frost because she doesn't want to be a killer, and tonight we learned that the two personalities can work together.
I enjoyed the struggle that Joe goes through at being a father at 50, and Barry reminded him that he is not alone, he has family to support him.
The new member of the team, Ralph Dibney, played by Hartley Sawyer, is quirky and adds something new to team. He's not totally good nor totally bad. I think it will be fun watching Cisco work with him.
Katee Sackhoff as Amunet was scary good. She's a villian that will reappear later. She's not one I'd want tangle with. Caitlin and she will meet again.
I do miss H.R. Wells. I am still waiting for them to write a good story for Tom Cavanagh.
This time, it was the girls who saved the city, #Feminism.
