Death of Billy Malone and Moving Arrow Forward

Image result for oliver queen looking guilty              The viewers were not invested in Billy Malone.  We had not background on him; where he came from, what interests he had, nor even where he lived.  We knew he was a cop and Felicity's boyfriend, but was that enough for us grieve his passing?  I think that's why we have had a difficult time watching Felicity grieve.  We hardly knew him, and we had a difficult time believing she did.

It pushes forward a story-line for Felicity that hasn't, in my humble opinion, been fully dealt  with and that is her PTSD.  I think Felicity will have to come to terms with her true feelings for Billy.  I don't think she truly loved him.   She and Oliver shared a loved that ended in a blink of an eye. Getting together and ending their relationship almost seemed like whiplash, it happened so quickly.  She tried too hard to prove to Oliver that she moved on, and it was clear to the viewers that she had not.  So now, we see Felicity trying to get Prometheus, her own way, with people from her past.  How will that all work out?

Marc Guggenheim has said that he got Oliver and Felicity together too quickly.  Although, it didn't seem that way to the viewers who watched them flirt for 4 seasons.  So, don't expect them together by the end of season 5.  How will Oliver react when he sees Felicity distracted by her own search for Prometheus?  Will he be so full of his own guilt that he won't notice?

What roles will Susan and Tina play?  Then too, we have Talia Al Ghul and then the Black Siren.  Will Laurel work with Talia?  Will they play a part in Prometheus?  Only 20 days to wait.
