Dangerous Liaisons Speculation

Image result for Dangerous Liaisons arrow 519 images Team Arrow will go up against team Felicity.  They have the same goal, but Felicity  is operating on the dark side, and might do something that she can never recover from.  In the above photo, Oliver says, "Don't do this, " and  Felicity responds with, "You'll have to stop me."  Game on.  Oliver will stop Felicity, and we are all looking forward as to the "how" he will do it.

I have thought that somehow Prometheus had been behind Helix, but one of my Reader's in a post sent me to a link that I think  is worth reading.  Basically it says that Helix is a product of Lyla and Argus.  It makes so much sense.

When Amanda Waller ran Argus, she used people as weapons.  She forced people to kill for Argus.  She forced Oliver and Maseo to kill for her, but when she died and Lyla took over, Lyla  wanted to do things differently.  So as the blog from Oliverdant speculates, Lyla sets up Helix and brings in hackers who willingly come to do her bidding.  It is Lyla that allows Felicity  to get the information on the general to  save John.  It is Lyla that has allowed Felicity to find the information to get Prometheus exposed to the police force.

It has already been spoiled that John and Lyla  will have relationship problems, and this could be the very  reason. John could be understandably upset by the whole thing.

I thought this speculation was excellent, and I hope I am wrong about Prometheus controlling  Helix, and that Lyla is doing it because it makes for a more interesting storyline for John and Lyla.
Please read the article yourself: http://oliverdant.tumblr.com  and search for "Because Arrow Loves Felicity Smoak"  that's where you'll find the speculation.  It is well written and thoughtful.
